Staunchly family-owned and operated since its first vintage in 1979, Kistler Vineyards is one of Sonoma County's preeminent and iconic producers of chardonnay and pinot noir.
That winemaker Jason Kesner works with just one heritage chardonnay clone (and two heritage pinot noir clones) across their network of meticulously farmed vineyards is testament to co-founder Steve Kistler's origin philosophy of crafting site-driven wines with a minimalist approach. All wines are fermented with native yeasts and bottled without filtering or fining.

Kistler Vineyards wines will be available in Australia from May, 2025.
SUSTAINABILITY.
The Kistler vineyards are dotted throughout some Sonoma County's most prime chardonnay and pinot noir growing areas, from the the western part of the region right down to Carneros in the south. The majority of vineyards are dry-farmed, and the Kistler winery and HQ itself is solar-powered.
