The Bogle family has been farming in the California Delta region since the 1870s. Initially concentrating on cherry, peach and pear orchards, it wasn’t until 1968 that fourth generation Warren Bogle planted 20 acres of wine grapes, releasing the first Bogle Family Vineyards wine in 1978.

Now owned and operated by sixth generation siblings Warren, Jody and Ryan, Bogle Family Vineyards is one of the United States’ most respected family wine brands.

As sixth-generation farmers, the Bogle family recognises the importance of operating sustainably across both environment and business. The family works with many growers with whom they have long standing partnerships in premier growing regions across Northern California, and pay high bonuses for delivering fruit that is not only high quality but also certified sustainable by California Winegrowing.

In 2019, Bogle Family Vineyards was awarded American Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast. In 2022, they were the California Association of Winegrape Growers’ Grower of the Year.

SUSTAINABILITY.

The Bogle family employs a wide array of initiatives in their pursuit of greater sustainability. Water is reused and recycled, up to three times, before it's filtered for on-site irrigation. They ensure their longterm growers meet stringent eco-friendly farming practices, and utilise solar power, electric vehicles and green building materials where possible. In terms of production, all wine is bottled in lightweight glass, reducing packaging weight by 10%. Additionally, the Bogle family is a highly respected and reliable community employer in the hometown of Clarksburg.
